How to use
JSON → JSONL requires a root array and emits one element per line. The reverse reads nonblank lines into an array and reports invalid line numbers.

Keep in mind
Up to 100,000 characters, 10,000 records, 40 levels and 20,000 values. Blank lines are skipped, string newlines stay escaped, and malformed JSON is not repaired.
Common questions
Can I paste pretty-printed JSON as JSONL? Each JSONL line must be a complete JSON value. Use the JSON array direction for pretty-printed arrays.
